TRJ is a diamond open access publisher. This means:

No surcharges based on article length, number of figures, color images, or supplementary files
There are no charges for rejected manuscripts. Authors can submit and publish without cost.
What TRJ covers (at no cost to authors)
TRJ covers the operational costs required to publish articles, which may include:
Editorial administration and peer review support: manuscript checks, reviewer invitations, communication with authors and reviewers, and decision workflows
Production: copyediting (as applicable), formatting/typesetting, PDF and web-ready outputs, reference checks, and metadata preparation
Proofing and publication: author proof review, final corrections, and online publication
Dissemination: distribution of article metadata and content to indexing, discovery services, and scholarly platforms (where applicable)
Archiving and continuity: maintaining access to published content and supporting preservation practices
Manuscript quality expectations
To ensure timely processing, submitted manuscripts should be well-prepared, clearly written, and include high-quality figures and complete references. Authors are expected to address reviewer and editorial comments during revision. Poorly prepared submissions may experience delays or may be rejected during editorial assessment.
Optional author services (only if requested)
TRJ may offer optional services (e.g., extensive language editing or specialized figure preparation) only if requested by the author and only with clear prior disclosure. These optional services are not required for submission or publication, and TRJ journals remain free to publish under the diamond open access model.
Sustainability of diamond open access
TRJ sustains diamond open access through publisher resources, institutional support, and partnerships that fund editorial operations and production. Funding sources do not influence editorial decisions, peer review outcomes, or journal editorial direction.
Discounts and waivers
Because TRJ does not charge APCs, discounts and waivers are not applicable.
